Kelly and Scott had a destination wedding at the Arizona Biltmore April 5th, 2014. The resort opened in 1929 and was designed and built with inspiration by Frank Lloyd Wright. The marriage ceremony was held on the Frank Lloyd Wright Lawn with a reception in the Aztec Room – the hotel’s original ballroom.

My good friend and fellow wedding photographer, Mark Cafiero asked me to be his guest photographer to assist in documenting the day.

Mark and I will be joining up for another Arizona wedding this weekend, so stay tuned for more wedding photos from Phoenix.

The birth of Jackson, the son of Katie and Jordan, was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever witnessed. He came into the world at 4:29AM on Good Friday, weighting 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Photographing such a personal and private experience requires a lot of trust. In this case it was earned by being involved in Katie and Jordan’s engagement session, Royal Catholic Wedding and their pregnancy session.

It’s a huge honor to be able to follow a young couple through some of the most important events in their lives. I’m looking forward to watching Jackson grow up.

The location of Molly and Marc’s engagement shoot changed three times, moving from a ski day at Copper Mountain, to Red Rocks, finally settling on the LoHi neighborhood. Being flexible paid off: we had a beautiful, spring day with lots of trees in bloom. We also had a great time getting to know each other, as we wandered around looking for the right spot with interesting light. Their dog Abby, will have a role in the wedding on August 22, 2014 at the Black Mountain Lodge at A-Basin.
