Kerri and Zach Engagement

Hello, last week everything came in two's, two weddings, two engagements and two concerts! Thats my idea of a great summer week.
On Tuesday evening I met up with Kerri and Zach at Union Station in LoDo for their engagement session.
Zach is a huge Rockies fan so we wandered over to Coors Field as the stadium was filling up for a game.
It was a beautiful summer night including some amazing clouds that caught the sunset light as we finished and it began to pour rain.
Kerri and Zach are getting married on the 4th of July next year!

Jessica and Aaron engagement

I would like to introduce Jessica and Aaron. They are looking forward to their May 25, 2007 wedding date at the Evergreen Lake House and have asked me to be their wedding photographer.
They both live in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and were visiting Denver last weekend to finalize their wedding plans. Monday afternoon we did a lifestyle photo session in Cheseman Park.
This was one of the easiest sessions I've ever done because they trusted me with their emotions and love for one another. If you would like to see a slideshow CLICK HERE: Jessica and Aaron All of our slideshows require flash player. Download a free version here: flash player

Alexandra and Jay

It's still dipping below zero every night here in Denver. Life goes on even in cold weather and some of us actually enjoy and celebrate winter. Yesterday, while the temperature was above zero, Alexandra and her fiance' Jay, wanted to do their engagement photo session in downtown Denver. They were both living downtown when they met, enjoy walking in the snow and like to have cocktails in the lobby of the Brown Palace Hotel so that's where we got the party started. Oh, and Alexandra wanted to include her 5 1/2 month old boxer puppy, Addy. If you would like to see a slideshow CLICK HERE: Alexandra and Jay All of our slideshows require flash player. Shelly and Rodney

Last week Shelly and Rodney flew into Colorado from Missouri to finalize their wedding plans for Jan. 28, 2007 at The Chapel at Red Rocks in Morrison Colorado. They met with me Friday morning and booked me on Sunday. Monday we did a lifestyle photo session starting at the chapel.
From there we drove up into the hills and found a great spot to hike around. Shelly and Rodney seemed to enjoy the break from wedding planning and showed their love for each holding each other tight when we stopped. They are a perfect couple to photograph as they would quickly forget all about me and get into their own little world. If you would like to see a slideshow. CLICK HERE: Shelly and Rodney

Jen and Troy

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Troy Foss and Jen Harper at the world famous Hotel del Coronado near San Diego, California. I've known Troy's family previous to his birth in Aspen. Hanging out with Troy and his buddies, and playing in the ocean the morning before the wedding, was a great way to get the party started. Their intimate ceremony was staged in the Garden Patio which was decorated with beautiful, multi-colored rose topiaries and fuschia flower petals lining the walkway. After the ceremony we strolled through the hotel and onto the beach for late afternoon and sunset photos. The candlelight reception in the Crown Room was kicked-off with the couples' first dance to the song "Someone Like You" by Van Morrison.
After a five-star dinner, toasts were made, the brides' bouquet and the garter were tossed, wine, champagne, beer and cocktails were served, the cake was cut, and the dance party got serious to tunes from the band, The Heroes.
The next morning Troy's mom, Jane, and her lady friends threw flower petals as the limo drove by taking the couple to the airport for their honeymoon in Tahiti!
I would like to thank both sets of parents for inviting me to participate in this amazing wedding celebration - Joe and Penny Harper, and Kim and Jane Foss.
Wedding coordinator, Trena Lozano of Trena's Special Occasion put together a truly memorable event.
