Last weekend we went hiking, camping and climbing near the town of Ouray, Colorado, one of the coolest mountain towns in the state. Geri and I joined our friends, Margie and Paul, for the adventure of climbing Mount Sneffels, 14,150 feet elevation. We had a killer campsite near a stream with a nice fire pit....
A couple of weeks ago I documented the Colorado-Eagle River Ride. Geri and friends Jim and Jodi were doing the century loop that included about 24 miles on a dirt road along the upper Colorado River. It was a blue sky mountain day without any threats of rain and it wasn’t even too hot.

We welcomed them with an evening Colorado Rockies game featuring Rockies pitcher, Ubaldo Jimenez, currently the best pitcher in baseball, followed by several back yard dinners, a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park, a cog-train ride to the top...
