I recently placed in the Wedding Photojournalist Association.
Competing with the many of the top wedding photojournalist from around the world makes for tough competition but I love it win or lose!
The judges comments were particularly rewarding.
Cheers to all the winners and losers, Kent

Mark and Garth were married December 7, 2013, at Bethany Lutheran Church followed by a reception at JW Marriot.

It might have been the coldest day of the year but the warmth inside the church filled with family and friends in support of the marriage of Mark and Garth, contributed to a beautiful ceremony led by Pastor Ron, who is a good friend. Pastor Ron suggested that the couple get married after being together for 18 years.

Garth sings with the church choir so of course they had a full choir performance for the ceremony.

After the ceremony which included a candle light prayer, the party moved to the JW Marriot in Cheery Creek North for cocktails, dinner, toasts, cake and lots of dancing.

Thank you Mark & Garth for choosing me to photograph your Wedding!

Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for a Wonderful New Year!

Lindsey and Mark were married August 10, 2013, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cherry Hills Village, followed by a reception at the Curtis Ballroom.

Lindsey and Mark’s wedding was centered around Lindsey’s church, where she is a member of the parish council and sings in two choirs. Senior Pastor Ron Glusenkamp performed the ceremony which included the newly-married couple assisting with the delivery of communion. Pastor Ron personally made the communion bread!

The 25-person choir was directed by Kantorei Dick Larson, while soloist Sara Michael did a wonderful version of Ave Maria and organist Rick Seaton performed on both the grand piano and pipe organ.

The sanctuary was bathed in beautiful blue light from two walls of stained glass, casting a wonderful glow over the ceremony.

Cheers to Mark and Lindsey, long may they sing together.
