Katie and Rocky were married at Piney River Ranch near Vail, Colorado on September 19, 2015. You might remember these two and their three fur babies from their engagement session last spring. Weddings that include dogs or other animals such as horses, Lama’s, birds etc. seem to attract me! Then when you add on, camping […]

Madison and Spencer were married July 18, 2015 at a private ranch in Old Snowmass, Colorado near Aspen.
As one of the top Aspen wedding photographers, it was my honor to document their wedding in a classic wedding photo-journalistic style capturing nature moments and a few artistic portraits.
The Roaring Fork Valley is home to many beautiful ranches that are perfect for outdoors sun drenched weddings such as Madison and Spencer’s ceremony which was followed by a tented reception in the same meadow where the reception was held.
From the time we arrived to photograph Madison getting ready at the Viceroy Snowmass to hanging out with the bridal party at the ranch house at Brush Creek where Madison and Spencer live and throughout their ceremony and reception were treated like personal friends of the bride and groom which makes for more personal wedding pictures!
Congratulations to Madison and Spencer, I’ll think of you every time I drive up Brush Creek going to Snowmass.
Thanks you both so much for choosing me to photograph your wedding day.
Sarah and Peter were married at the Colorado Mountain Ranch in Gold Hill, June 15, 2013. The CMR is also where they met while working as camp counselors, so this location holds special meaning to both the bride and groom. They hired a great wedding planner, Jessica of J. Green Weddings. Jessica and her team did a wonderful job of coordinating the wedding, and no detail was left untouched or unnoticed by Sarah and Peter. Their thoughtfulness toward their friends and families was evident and present all day and all evening. The toast made by Sarah’s father, Bob; sister and Maid of Honor, Becca; Best Man, Scott; and Peter’s brother, Greg; were all heartfelt.
Thank you both for choosing me to photograph your wedding, and for your thoughtfulness. I hope I can bake a pie for you both someday, even if it’s not as lovely as one of the more than a dozen pies you served from My Mom’s Pie in Niwot.
