Ski Loveland’s Mountaintop Matrimony 2017 where love was in the air yesterday as 70 couples participated in a mass wedding ceremony, 17 of couples actually got married this year.

The 26th Annual Valentine’s Day Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony and reception is a Ski Loveland tradition where new couples are joined in matrimony and married couples renew their vows at The Ptarmigan Roost Cabin, elevation 12,050 feet.

The 24th Annual Valentine’s Day Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony at Loveland Ski Area had more than 100 couples saying, “I Do!” – some for the first time, and for some a repeat of their vows, in a mass wedding outside The Ptarmigan Roost Cabin, (elevation 12,050 feet) located at the top of Lift #2. It was the warmest of the six times I’ve covered this Loveland tradition.

This year was made extra special because Geri joined me in photographing the event, and our good friends Margie and Paul Broome dressed up and renewed their vows to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.

Cheers, Kent
