James and Martina held their Colorado destination winter wedding ceremony at the Lord of the Mountains Lutheran Church in Dillon, Colorado on January 9, 2016 followed by a reception at Blue Sky Breckenridge.

Kent Meireis Photography specializes in Colorado Destination winter weddings in Dillon and Breckenridge, Colorado.

Martina was born and raised in Colorado. James was born and raised in Australia where they now live on a cattle ranch. Choosing to celebrate their wedding in the mountains of Colorado on a cold winter day rather than a hot summer day in Australia was an easy decision for a snow loving couple.

Thank you Martina and James for choosing Kent Meireis Photography to document your wedding day in the beautiful mountains of Summit County Colorado.

Cheers, Kent Meireis

Deirdre and Ryan’s Denver New Year’s Eve wedding was held at Our lady of Lourdes Catholic Church followed by a reception at the Manor House.

The weather was absolutely prefect for a winter wedding. It went from a sunny blue sky day to a slightly cool and clear evening with no wind.

Father Brian Larkin performed the ceremony at their local parish with about 200 family members and guests.

Bouquets and floral arrangements were made and Sue and Kendra Kimball of Kimball Floral.

Their wedding cake was designed and baked by Ryan’s cousin Kathleen Davia, owner of Gateaux Bakery.

My good friend Sean Cayton of Cayton Photography helped as guest photographer.

The 24th Annual Valentine’s Day Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony at Loveland Ski Area had more than 100 couples saying, “I Do!” – some for the first time, and for some a repeat of their vows, in a mass wedding outside The Ptarmigan Roost Cabin, (elevation 12,050 feet) located at the top of Lift #2. It was the warmest of the six times I’ve covered this Loveland tradition.

This year was made extra special because Geri joined me in photographing the event, and our good friends Margie and Paul Broome dressed up and renewed their vows to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.

Angelina and Toby wanted to have a winter wedding but their families talked them out of it. Their June 14, 2014 destination mountain top wedding at Mozart’s Deck at Keystone Resort was as cold as a winter day and it even snowed.

Their engagement photos were taken last winter in Breckenridge on a cold snowing day/evening last January.

Melanie Hankinns of Hands Down Event Planning kept their wedding day running smoothly from start to finish.

Videographer, Angel Andres worked great with both Geri and I.

Thank you Angelina and Toby for choosing me to photograph your wedding.

Congratulation, Kent

Winter Wedding-Devil’s Thumb Ranch Wedding-Destination Colorado Wedding

Dana and Greg were married February 8, 2014 in a near blizzard storm at Devil’s Thumb Ranch.

Their intimate ceremony was held in the Timber House and their reception was in the Broad Axe Barn.

My good friend and fellow wedding photographer Mark Cafiero asked me to be his guest photographer documenting the day mostly from Greg’s perspective while Mark focused on Dana who was a detail oriented DIY bride who planned her vintage styled wedding with the help of Kara Delay, owner of Love The Day Events in Winter Park. Dana’s bouquet made of brooches looked beautiful and was perfect for a destination winter wedding in the Colorado mountain.

Greg’s two daughters played an important part of this union and were each presented with necklaces during the heartfelt and emotional ceremony.

Cheers, Kent
