Wedding Photojournalist Association announced the 2014 Fourth Quarter contest winners and I was pleasantly surprised to receive 5 awards in different categories. It’s an honor to compete with many of the best wedding photojournalists locally, nationally and from around the world.
Cheers to everyone who entered, won or judged this round, Kent
The last weekend in February Geri and I went on our annual hut trip with a group of 10 friends from Denver, Summit County and the Aspen/Carbondale area. Allie and Mark were married New Year’s Eve 2014 at Kevin Taylor’s at the Opera House with their reception on the stage of the Ellie Caulkins Opera House at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts Complex.
My good friend Preston Utley asked me to help him photograph the downtown Denver wedding celebration, starting with Mark getting ready at the Four Seasons Hotel Denver.
Cammye with We Tie The Knots helped Allie and Mark plan their wedding.
