Molly and Marc’s destination mountain wedding was held on the deck of the Black Mountain Lodge at Arapahoe Basin August 22, 2014.
You might remember them from their super fun engagement pictures in the LoHi neighborhood of Denver last May.
They are hardcore outdoors adventure athletes who rode the Triple Bypass bicycle ride from Evergreen to Avon, more than 100 miles and 3 mountain passes, including going over Loveland Pass and riding past Arapahoe Basin last summer.
Clouds, rain, and a cool day couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces on their wedding day, and at sunset they were rewarded with a beautiful glowing stripe of alpine glow, lighting up the east ridge of the basin.
Molly and Marc are pretty amazing Do It Yourself-ers who designed and planned their own wedding, featuring many personal touches. Meredith Smith, the wedding and catering coordinator at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area and Black Mountain Lodge helped them fulfill their dream wedding at over 12,000-feet in elevation, just below the Continental Divide.
My good friend Michael Lewis, joined Geri and I in documenting their wedding. Michael is a world-class photojournalist who lives in Cozumel, Mexico.
Cheers to Molly and Marc, Kent
