This was the hardest wedding to edit so far this season – there were just too many great moments.
Dina from Petal and Bean in Breckenridge did a great job of being both the wedding planner and florist. We ended up using the front of her building located in the first barn in Breckenridge for pictures with the bridal party. We had a great time wandering around this cute, little mountain town stopping in the The Gold Pan Saloon for a couple of rounds of chilled tequila shots including a round on a shot-ski!
At the reception, the toasts were so heartfelt and funny that emotions were off the charts. Alex surprised everyone when he decided to smear cake on Ashlee’s face during the cake-cutting ceremony, then she in turn got the best of him. I knew the A-Team had been planning and practicing for their first dance, and it was very cool and original. Then Ashlee and her dad blew the room away with a wild swing dance followed by Alex and his mother in an emotional pairing that moved many to tears.
Courtney of Hampton Entertainment kept the music flowing from one perfect song to another.
Ellen Jaskol assisted me as guest photographer bringing some great portrait ideas, as well as capturing some nice, little journalistic moments.
Thanks to The A-Team for choosing me to photograph their fun-filled weekend in Breckenridge!
