Sarah and Peter were married at the Colorado Mountain Ranch in Gold Hill, June 15, 2013. The CMR is also where they met while working as camp counselors, so this location holds special meaning to both the bride and groom. They hired a great wedding planner, Jessica of J. Green Weddings. Jessica and her team did a wonderful job of coordinating the wedding, and no detail was left untouched or unnoticed by Sarah and Peter. Their thoughtfulness toward their friends and families was evident and present all day and all evening. The toast made by Sarah’s father, Bob; sister and Maid of Honor, Becca; Best Man, Scott; and Peter’s brother, Greg; were all heartfelt.
Thank you both for choosing me to photograph your wedding, and for your thoughtfulness. I hope I can bake a pie for you both someday, even if it’s not as lovely as one of the more than a dozen pies you served from My Mom’s Pie in Niwot.
Sarah and Peter are getting married next summer at Colorado Mountain Ranch up at Gold Hill, a town and area about a 45-minutes drive in the foothills above Boulder, Colorado. The couple met while they were both camp counselors at the ranch, so it seemed to be a natural place to go for their engagement pictures on a cool, fall afternoon. It was great fun to end the shoot inside The Gold Hill Inn by the warm fire with a nice glass of Malbec.
